Most of the children we have helped have a life threatening condition, for children with

Aplastic Anaemia please see our usefull links page.

Here is a chance to see a few of the many young, amazing and beautiful people

whom it has been our pleasure to help. We are just listing those from January 2006

onwards, as there are to many to mention here.

 

NOVEMBER 09

 

NEW WHEELCHAIR FOR ZAK

The Trust has been very happy to have been able to help buy a new Wheelchair for Zak Hall.

Zak is 2 years old and has severe spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, which affects his entire body.

The new wheelchair has been a God send to his family and has all the support Zak needs to be as comfortable as he can.

NEW SHOES FOR SOPHIE

Sophie Godber has a life limiting contidtion called

''Congenital Muscular Dystrophy''

This is a life limiting, muscle wasting condition, she has to also have Specially designed shoes which are very expensive! Sophie's mum Sarah contacted the charity and we were very happy to have been able to help.

*A DONATION*

The Trust is very happy once again to be able to make a donation of

£1000 to Kate Snape who with her father Ben are still looking for

ways to raise more money to enable Kate to have a better quality Wheelchair.

*A DONATION*

The Trust is very happy to have been able to present John Murphy

and his family with a cheque for £1000, the money was raised from

the charity event held at the Crown & Cushion in August, which was

organized by 12yr old Danielle Roberts and her father Barry.

The money will be used to help John and his family (catch up) after

spending the last few months in and out of hospital with his son

Robert who has AML, he is now 'recovering' at home after having his

bone marrow operation 2 weeks ago.

Please keep Robert and his family in your prayers.

 

(AUGUST 2008)

*TOP UPS*

It has been a great pleasure to help 17yr old Robert Murphy by

topping up his mobile phone while he has been layed up in hospital

over the past few months, which has enabled him to keep in touch

with all his family and friends.

Robert has AML which is 'Adult Myloid Leukaemia'

he has now found a perfect match for his bone marrow operation.

Which will now take place on the 3rd October.

*A DONATION*

 

The Trust is very happy to have been able to make a DONATION of

£500 towards Eathans Journey.

Ethan was born with a lymphatic malformation, a rare condition that causes facial disfigurement as well as more serious issues such as restricted airways.

Due to the complexity and rarity of his condition his doctors in this country do not have the experience required to operate on him so he is going to have to go abroad for treatment and this will not be covered by the NHS.

STEP AND SLIDE PRESENTATION

On behalf of the trust, Patti Bradshaw & Mary Bonner had great pleasure

in presenting a Soft-brick Step & Slide to 8 year old Reece Macdonald, Reece

suffer's from a condition called leigh syndrome.

The step and slide will help Reece to play without hurting himself.

BIKE TRAILER PRESENTATION

The Trust presented little Aleksandria Baker age 6yrs with a special bike

Trailer, Aleksandria suffer's with the condition Rett Syndrome and the

specially built bike trailer will help her to enjoy more family outings.

and her mum Nicole.

Ifnan Aslam celebrating his 9th birthday with a little help from his friends.

               present Ifnan with an xbox 360 and all the trimmings.

      Ifnan was diognosed with cancer 9 months ago and will finish his

      treatment in may this year.

SANTA'S VISIT

We visted our local hospital ( Warrington General ) taking presents to the

children which were very kindly donated by Handleman uk, in Birchwood,

Warrington.

SWING PRESENTATION

Three year old Mia Loudon suffers from a very rare genetic disorder called

CDKL5 which is a variant of Retts Syndrome, a severely disabling

neurological condition. When Patti Bradshaw saw Mia's story in the

Warrington Guardian, she decided to help. The Trust has provided a specially

built swing which Mia just loves.

PRESENTING SHOWER CRADLE

12 year old Matthew Ellis suffers from Angelman Syndrome, a

debilitating condition that causes a distortion in messages from the brain to

the body. The Trust helped provide a special shower cradle which makes bath

time much easier and more relaxing for him.
